About

Northcoast Zeitgeist is the brainchild of Casey Myers and Joseph Hughes, two hard-working, progressive Midwesterners located in Kent, Ohio. Part design, part photography, part civic boosterism, Northcoast Zeitgeist is an outlet for our creative energies and an attempt to highlight the best of what our little corner of the world has to offer. More importantly, here at Northcoast Zeitgeist, it's a scientific fact that we know what's hot. To put it simply, we have a great eye and a soft spot for all things modern (note the second word in our name).

We live in the greatest city in Northeast Ohio, and aren't afraid to brag about it. We recently bought a house here, and are hard at work restoring it to its old glory. When we're not creating or bloggin' it, Casey is hard at work on a doctorate and Joseph is an art director at an area advertising agency. We are joined in this adventure by our cat, Bea Arthur, who, despite being adorable, would eat us if she was big enough, as well as our wonderful pooch, Quigley, who loves naps and hates our mailman.
